KhanyaSec provides automated, passive observations of publicly reachable sites. Results are informational only. They are not legal, compliance, or professional security advice, and they may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on them.
The Service is a free personal project. Use it at your own risk. You can download a PDF of the results. We do not collect email or other personal data from a scan. We may store the scanned URL and the date and time of the scan for statistics.
Terms of Use
These Terms apply when you use KhanyaSec. Please read them before running a scan.
1. Acceptance
By using KhanyaSec (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms and the Legal Disclaimer above. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
The Service is a free personal project, not a registered company or paid product. It runs passive checks on publicly reachable HTTP(S), TLS, DNS, and related signals. It does not exploit targets, require an account, or send reports by email. Results appear in your browser; you can download a PDF.
3. Your use
You may submit any publicly reachable URL. That does not give you permission to attack or further test the target. Do not misuse the Service (for example by bypassing rate limits, abusing protections, or interfering with it) or use results to harass, defame, or harm others. We may refuse, throttle, or block scans.
4. Data and privacy
We do not collect email addresses or other personal data from a scan. We may store the scanned URL and the date and time of the scan for statistics. Those records identify public websites, not you, and we keep them only as long as needed, then delete or aggregate them.
Limited technical data may be processed briefly for rate limiting and abuse prevention. If Cloudflare Turnstile is enabled, Cloudflare processes data under its own policies.
If applicable law treats anything we hold as your personal data, you may request access, correction, or deletion at legal@khanyasec.dev. You may also complain to a supervisory authority, such as an EU/UK data-protection authority or Brazil's ANPD.
5. No warranty and liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED FREE OF CHARGE, "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE AUTHOR AND THE SERVICE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE FULLY EXCLUDED, IT WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO USE THE SERVICE, WHICH IS ZERO.
You are responsible for how you use the Service and agree to indemnify the author for claims arising from your misuse or violation of these Terms.
6. Other
We are not responsible for third-party sites you ask us to scan. The Service and its software remain the author's intellectual property. We may update these Terms; continued use means you accept the new version. Questions: legal@khanyasec.dev.
